"The only journey is the one within.” (Rainer Maria Rilke)
Have you had that nagging feeling that you’ve needed to talk with someone, but have been putting it off? Do you feel anxious when considering looking at your inner self and how it may be affecting you in your life and relationships? Have you been afraid to speak up or get help in a relationship you know is in trouble? Are you feeling like you're never good enough?
If the answer to any of these is yes, then it may comfort you to know that you are not alone. What may be uncomfortable is to admit to yourself that things aren’t ok...So you've put seeking help on the back burner. But now things are different. Now you just might be ready to reach out for that help and make some healthy changes in your life. The good news is that when you do reach out, you do open up the possibility of making things better.
And this is where therapy comes in. I like to think of therapy and life in general as a journey of discovering who we are and how to be. So if you’re struggling now and looking for help with anxiety, shame, self-esteem issues, identity crisis, spiritual issues, relationship problems, premarital questions, marriage troubles, chaotic family relationships or friendships, a difficult phase in your life, trauma, grief, depression etc... then therapy is a great place to begin or renew your “journey within”. Therapy promotes healthy change, practical resolution of these issues, and a greater acceptance of and balanced perception of self and others.
I look forward to meeting you and I invite you to take that first step in bettering your life.
